Software Developer

• Looking for a seasoned, passionate, and hands-on Developer to drive the development programs at PropsAMC
• You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to look in to big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
• You will be joining a talented, collaborative team at the forefront of exciting new ventures in the real estate analytics and asset management space. Our ideal candidate will bring to the table a passion for creating elegant and functional user experiences.
• Communicate cross-functionally, collaborate with Business teams, Product managers, engineers and QA to plan and own and deliver solutions on time.
• Work with CTO to define best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time.
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

Requirements

• Overall 2 to 3 years of experience in software product development
• Minimum of a Bachelor or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in Python/Django, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, memcache, Redis, Elasticsearch, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap etc. programming and debugging skills
• Experience in tools and techniques for automated testing, building and deploying the application
• Expert in Distributed Systems and Cloud Technologies
• Experience and ability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practices.

Bonus points

• Experience in GIS Applications – using PostGIS features of PostgreSQL
• Mobile development (Native or Cross-Platform – preferably React Native)
