Position Summary:

The Head of Engineering is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s technical operations. This includes designing and building new products and services, managing software development, and ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency throughout the engineering process. The Head of Engineering will manage the development lifecycle of the company’s products and services from the initial design phase to the final product release, working closely with their team to ensure iterative value creation for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

The head of engineering  :

• Is the go-to person for all technical related subjects.
• Leads his team to design and build products and services that meet the product team specifications aligned with company strategy.
• Also, builds and maintains a technical roadmap to ensure scalability, quality, performance, security and attractivity of the technical stack.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal technical solutions in a smooth way.
• Hire, train, and mentor engineering staff, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge for success
• Motivate and inspire team members to create a positive and productive work environment
• Support his team for technology and architectural decision making based on the current stack: aws, docker/k8s, java/springboot, reactJS, React native, mongoDb, postgresSql, gitlab/gitlabCI, sonarqube, ELK, …

Skills Qualifications required:

1. Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience managing complex technical projects
