Responsibilities

• Lead the team in defining, tracking, and reporting key user experience metrics.
• Evaluate, establish, and apply best practices, patterns, and guidelines. This includes emerging technologies and design methodologies.
• Build and evolve user personas and customer journeys.
• Better understand our customers by doing market analysis, customer research and analysing feedback provided.
• Facilitate the design process from wireframes, prototypes to high-fidelity designs.
• Continually iterate on the user experience and improve on the overall journey for our customers.
• Communicate and gather feedback from the necessary stakeholders e.g. development, peer design team and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a user experience designer, interaction designer or similar UX-related role.
• 1+ years creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for complex web applications.
• 1+ years of experience working a development team on implementation of designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a solid rationale for design decisions.
• Good time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed.
• Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles, techniques, and patterns.
• Demonstrated history of performing user research or gathering quantitative customer data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
