The Rolre

Coniq is an industry-leading SaaS business with significant new funding and high growth ambitions. We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic pre-sales professional with SaaS experience to support the acceleration of revenue generation through the direct support of our international sales team. Someone who can pull together creative and elegant tech solutions, leveraging our suite of products, devices and integration capabilities to best solve client’s challenges. If you’re someone who loves proactively supporting the sales process in both technical and commercial perspectives, this role is for you.

Your core responsibility will be in the sales process both in winning new clients and growing existing relationships. You’ll quickly grow an exceptional knowledge of Coniq’s product and services, leveraging this knowledge to construct fit for purpose and polished solutions for our clients and prospects.

You’ll be mainly working with mid-market and enterprise prospects and clients and will ensure that achievable expectations are set from the beginning of the engagement to deliver a ‘best-in-class solution and help support future client advocacy and retention. We are looking for someone with a technical, creative and problem-solving mindset to make sure we leverage Coniq’s tech capabilities to best serve our client’s needs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Listening to and understanding client requirements

  • Pulling together solutions meeting client needs and Coniq capabilities

  • Production of sales materials including presentations and system diagrams

  • Representing Coniq in front of clients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in technical pre-sales roles or problem solving in a technical environment

  • Strong technology understanding covering solution architecture and integrations

  • A can-do attitude with an internal drive to find solutions to complicated technical challenges

  • Ability to produce high quality technical sales documentation

  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional team to gathering input internally, and then translate that into clear client-ready presentations

  • Ability to convey complex technical topics to customers with simplicity in a client facing capacity

  • Ability to understand client requirements preferably with Business analysis experience

  • Ability to lead and aid in the completion of RFPs

  • Ability to create and lead tailored product demos that speak to the needs of our customers and demonstrate the value of Coniq

  • Help improve the technical knowledge of our sales team, demonstrating new product developments within Coniq platform and the wider final Coniq solution ecosystem within weekly sales team meetings

  • Experience of loyalty and retail would be a bonus

  • Commercially astute and able to facilitate/ add value to external/ internal discussions with clients and the Sales team

  • Approachable and personable, able to swiftly inspire confidence in people

  • Able to quickly grasp the full functional capability of the platform and understand its place in the market

  • Clear oral and written communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Willingness to work collaboratively within the team and extended team

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and work off-site on occasion (e.g. visiting client premises as part of a bid or implementation project)
