The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to help us attract, onboard and retain the best talent. Reporting in to the Head of Talent, you will work closely with other members of the TA / People team spread across London, Berlin and New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring across the company with a particular focus on the technical side (Engineering, Product and Design). We have ambitious plans to continue our growth having increased our headcount from 50 to 185 in the past 18 months.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build effective working relationships with prospective candidates
  • Successfully screen candidates to meet current, ongoing and future recruitment requirements
  • Review advert responses, shortlist CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews with candidates
  • Liaise with candidates and applicants as a brand ambassador, ensuring to provide a great candidate experience
  • Work closely with hiring managers to educate and create thorough, yet competitive interview processes
  • Develop a high level of expertise in relevant job boards, social media channels, recruitment software and other hiring avenues
  • Drive candidate attraction and build talent pools using direct sourcing methods, marketing material and recruitment and executive search agencies
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline in line with business requirements
  • Work with and mentor more junior talent acquisition specialists
  • Assist with day one, and week one on-boarding for new hires and help to enhance the on-boarding process
  • Other ad-hoc HR tasks as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruitment within a fast-growing scale up/startup
  • Previous experience of hiring for technical roles such as engineering and product
  • Experience with a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media channels and recruitment software
  • Previous use of an ATS (Workable preferred)
  • Capacity to organise and manage interviews / assessments
  • Ability to quickly learn HR systems, processes and procedures
  • Excellent organisational, as well as written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with others
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
