Role 

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be joining a growing team on a mission to empower the world to build wealth through modern real estate investing. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused powerhouse able to collaborate with product management, engineering, and other designers to deliver next-level products. By joining the company on the ground floor you’ll have a chance to help shape their company, design culture and drive their mission.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your full range of product design skills, from ideation with product managers to working with engineers, implementing your detailed mocks, to produce best-in-class UX/UI that helps define a new category of investing
  • Solve complex client problems in simple and intuitive ways that start with a deep understanding of customer workflows and deliver solutions that blend together brand personality, visuals, and motion to create delightful experiences.
  • Test prototypes and hypotheses with our end-users and champion for their needs
  • Maintain design consistency by working with our design system (and help us expand and evolve it)
  • Proactively audit and improve experiences across our products

Requirements 

  • You have strong interaction design, visual design, UX, and product thinking skills
  • You’re thoughtful, flexible, and can manage the ambiguity that comes with an early stage product and team
  • You have strong, user-centric instincts with a significant bias for action
  • You can reduce complex business and customer problems down to the right balance of ease of use, power, and flexibility
  • You crave cross-functional and customer feedback to help you produce your best work
  • You can make decisions with imperfect information
  • You know when and how to validate designs
  • You consider the entire customer workflow (not just as it relates to your product)
  • A sense of humour. You welcome feedback, and when you stumble you get back up. You adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and you feel an inherent need to grow and learn
  • You have built, or are committed to building, a diverse and inclusive product team
  • You have experience designing for consumer-facing products, financial services applications, or e-commerce

  • Experience and/or understanding of marketing, branding, copywriting
