The Company

Showhere is a new tech start-up with an ambition to create the leading sales and marketing platform for the PropTech sector. The vision is big and we are looking for an experienced product manager to sit at the heart of the product delivery team to help bring that vision to life. We’re looking for someone with strong delivery and technical creds who can really champion the product, its users and the sector itself in order to drive the direction, ambition and delivery of the Showhere product suite. The ideal candidate would have previous experience of the Proptech sector or a related field such as architecture, space planning or experiential technology.

 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong delivery and technical credentials. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating sector-changing products and have an interest in architecture and design.

 

Responsibilities

Working closely with the product team and wider business stakeholders this role will be expected to:

  • Coordinate the daily working of the product team; including leading stand-ups, sprint planning and management, user story and ticket grooming
  • Scope and prioritise team activities based on business and customer impact
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation
  • Contribute to regular business reporting and tracking dashboards
  • Work closely with the development team to support technical workflow – including being hands-on with tech task definition, estimation, testing and acceptance criteria
  • Gain a deep understanding of the user and customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Translate product strategy and customer insights into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Work closely with the sprint team to enable the delivery of quick time-to-market features
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the sector and in general. Be able to assess competitors and emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies with the business stakeholders
  • Evaluate promotional and new business plans to ensure they are consistent with product strategy and roadmap
  • Act as a product evangelist; create buy-in for the product vision and build awareness and understanding on the product internally and externally
  • Be a representative for Showhere and take regular opportunities to speak to users (and potential users) to gain insight and feedback on company products and services

 

Requirements

  • Proven work experience and success in product management and delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop a product strategy and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a small teams and start-up environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile project management or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of the proptech sector or related field is desirable.
  • Experience using and managing Notion as an organisation space would be helpful.
