The Role

Enertiv seeks a highly qualified Engineering Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing project implementations and scaling our deployments nationally. The Engineering Project Manager will coordinate with a range of stakeholders including: clients, subcontractors, field technicians, project engineering and management. The individual is also responsible for developing a plan of action for all potential projects in the pipeline and continuously improving internal processes. The Engineering Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed at the highest level of quality and on time. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, has high attention to detail, and great communication skills. Prior field experience is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate all client projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • To be the primary client contact from project kick off through site commissioning
  • To manage all scheduling, deliveries, and issue resolution on behalf of the client
  • To work closely with the Project Engineering, Product (hardware & software) and Client Success teams to effectively manage project deadlines, minimize errors in production, and produce deliverables
  • To regularly update clients on project statuses and any potential delays (hyper communication)
  • To ensure that internal protocols are followed with diligence and make best efforts to deliver projects on time
  • To look for opportunities to improve existing processes, putting the clients needs and expectations first

 

Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in MEP, construction, and/or electrical/mechanical systems in buildings
  • Very strong project management skills (eg. Six Sigma or PMP Certifications, or equivalent)
  • Masters degree in electrical, mechanical or another engineering discipline
  • Experience managing logistics and remote field operations
  • High level of integrity
  • History of meeting tight deadlines, working with a sense of urgency, and the ability to delegate effectively
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, high voltage situations, and industrial controls. Must be able to read and understand MEP drawings
