Data Science Intern

The Company

Over 10.000 real estate agents use Nodalview to capture AI-powered eye-catching photos and 360° immersive virtual tours of properties using their smartphone. In September 2019, we secured € 1,7 M in funding to support our further international growth. We are currently 15, no, wait, already 30 people strong. We are planning to keep growing in 2021.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Science Intern to team up with Louis, our Data Engineer here at Nodalview.

Responsibilities

Help develop a brand-new Data Analytics platform for our Sales team.
Build additional ETL pipelines to broaden our Data Acquisition processes.
Participate in the training and development of a Photo Scoring algorithm for real estate photographs using Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
Analyse Real Estate data to discover new insights, helping our teams improve our product and make our clients thrive.

Requirements:
Who are we looking for?

• You have strong organisational skills and an analytical mindset while enjoying taking ownership of what you work on.
• You can communicate in English, French is a plus, in a professional context with people, and in Python and/or Ruby on Rails with computers.
• You have, if no real experience yet, at least a strong interest in Data Management and ETL processes, from acquiring raw data to delivering clear insights in a user-friendly web interface.
• You understand how APIs work and are constructed.
• You are familiar with SQL databases and the AWS environment (ElasticBeanstalk, EC2, Lambda).
• Previous experiences in Computer Vision and the OpenCV library are nice cherries on the cake.
• You have a valid EU work permit.
• You can do at least 3 months of internship.
• Last but definitely not least, you are really motivated to learn and experiment with new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
