Position Summary:

As we enter our scale-up phase, we are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead our global marketing strategy. You will define our brand positioning, drive growth, and structure a scalable marketing organization aligned with business goals. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive committee.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the company’s overall marketing strategy to drive brand growth, awareness, and customer acquisition
  • Build a scalable marketing organization covering brand, growth, content, and product marketing
  • Develop and optimize acquisition funnels across all channels (paid, SEO, CRM, partnerships, automation)
  • Align marketing with Product, Sales, and Data teams to ensure consistency between brand promise and user experience
  • Strengthen the company’s market positioning through impactful storytelling, PR, and community activation
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve marketing ROI

 

Qualifications:

Must-haves

  • Proven experience as CMO in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead marketing functions from scratch
  • Strong hands-on expertise in digital acquisition, brand development, and data-driven marketing
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and funnel optimization
  • Fluent in English and French; confident communicator with stakeholders and teams

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2C or B2B2C tech businesses (e.g., marketplaces, fintech, proptech)
  • Background in product-led growth or close collaboration with product teams
  • Familiarity with the Moroccan or North African market
  • International experience or willingness to relocate to Morocco
