Rafiki.works is a HR Tech company that connects technical talent in Africa to global opportunities. They partner with the worlds leading technical bootcamps and have built and exceptional talent pool across a wide range of technical disciplines, including software engineers, data scientists and designers, placing them into early-stage start-ups across the UK and Europe. They currently have a focus on PropTech, FinTech, and Web3.


The role sits within our sales team, reporting to the Co-founder and CEO and will be responsible for outbound, B2B sales activity that proactively targets prospective customers through a variety of channels.

You’ll have ownership of the entire sales cycle, from first contact through to contract closing and building a long-term relationship to maintain customer success.

This role would suit someone with recruitment experience with a keen interest in HR Tech.


  •  Sourcing and development of new leads through prospecting calls and other outbound methods
  •  Achieve goals for engagement, pipeline development and booked meetings
  •  Report findings and share best practices with your peers gained through strategic

engagement with the market

  •  Communicate new product developments to prospective clients
  •  Managing objections in the sales process
  •  Pitch product to clients and close deals
  •  Develop new approaches to attracting clients



  •  2 – 3 years quota carrying B2B sales experience
  •  A passion and understanding of the technology industry
  •  Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  A relentless drive to understand customer needs
  •  Ability to build relationships and rapport with ease
  •  Proven and successful experience in selling to the UK market
  •  Well organised and able to manage your own time effectively
  •  High emotional intelligence and good listening skills
  •  Full professional fluency in English
