Role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you provide critical support to the Finance & Accounting team as you are responsible for reviewing all invoices and documentation, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and review for any exceptions, research and correct any discrepancies. You work within defined processes, yet you are always looking for ways to find efficiencies and produce detail-oriented work.
Expert organization, communication, detail orientation, and prioritization skills are essential to high performance.
Responsibilities
- Invoice payable data entry for various entities and vendors; entering all fields in Sage Intacct with associated invoice information such as the selecting the correct entity, vendor code, inputting correct dates, invoice #’s and inputting appropriate descriptions related to the purchase or service.
- Review and prepare pay applications (i.e. G702) from STR Property Managers for FF&E expenditures.
- Research and resolve accounts payable issues and become primary point of contact for vendors/departments in all payment matters.
- Review and code credit card transactions and employee reimbursements to ensure proper sync to accounting software.
- Monthly Reconciliation of credit card and bank transactions.
- Assist with 1099 filing compliance.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of AP related experience.
- Detail Oriented – You pay excellent attention to detail.

- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Real Estate experience is preferred but not required.
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
